• Brittney Paige Couture is a made-to-measure bridal studio on the Eastern Shore of Hobart, Tasmania, run by designer Brittney Paige. Born and raised in Warrnambool, she completed Fashion Design and Technology at Gordon TAFE with top marks in 2015, interning during her diploma with Australian designers Alex Perry and Linda Britten. In 2016 she studied at the Paris American Academy in Paris, where she was taught traditional couture techniques and the Madame Gres draping technique, then moved to England for a six-month internship with Phillipa Lepley in Chelsea, London. At the end of 2017 she returned to Melbourne to work for a renowned bridal designer as a cutter, working up to assistant of production manager, and in June 2019 she returned to the Paris American Academy to study corsetry and bustiers. The studio makes custom bridal gowns and reception mini dresses, bridesmaid, graduation and ball gowns, and sells its own range of veils and hair pieces. It also offers alterations on all gowns, from a hem or a strap through to a full dress re-make. Custom pricing for a wedding gown, for special occasion wear and for bridesmaids, and depends on fabric and style choices. The studio works by appointment, offers online booking for Tasmanian clients, and responds to all enquiries within 12 hours.
