Wedding Florists · Gippsland, Victoria
Flower Fixation is a Drouin studio working weddings across West Gippsland and the Bass Coast, and it does something few florists offer: it takes the bouquet back afterwards. Alongside bespoke wedding flowers it runs a full bouquet preservation service, drying and framing the blooms into a keepsake. The everyday side is a hand-delivered local flower and gift business, open daily.
The studio partners with a small list of chosen growers across Gippsland and leans on seasonal wildflowers and lush greenery. Its own work runs to soft blush and cream - peach dahlias, blush lisianthus and gypsophila - as well as deeper, moodier arrangements in burgundy and magenta. Dried and preserved work is a whole second language here, with pampas and dried roses recurring through the framed pieces.
Couples marrying around Drouin, Warragul and the Bass Coast who want a local florist rather than a city studio travelling out, and especially couples who already know they want to keep the bouquet. Because there is no minimum spend, it suits a small wedding needing a few pieces as readily as a full ceremony and reception.
There is no minimum spend, and the first consultation is free. Wedding florals and preservation are both quoted after an enquiry. The studio is open daily from 8:30am to 6:30pm, every order is hand-delivered rather than couriered, and same-day delivery covers Drouin, Warragul, Pakenham and West Gippsland. Preservation enquiries get an answer within 24 hours.
The preservation service is the reason to look here, and the practical detail is what makes it usable: there is no packaging or postage to organise, because the studio collects the bouquet after the wedding. Each bloom is then dried individually and the bouquet is rebuilt and custom framed to echo the original. Most preservation is a mail-away service booked with a stranger in another state; this is a local studio picking it up, and it accepts bouquets from as far east as Traralgon and Moe.
