Setting & Style

You choose the ceremony spot from four: the open-framed Air Chapel standing among the gums, the Wetlands, the Window-Front, or the Sculpture Gardens. The reception hall has a rustic pallet wall, wine barrels, in-house fairy lights and a large dance floor; outside there is a lawn and bar area set with games for pre-dinner drinks.

Couples who want the whole weekend on one property — ceremony, dinner, dancing and beds for up to 96 — and who want the cost worked out before they enquire.

The Need-to-Knows

Everything is priced and published, for two years ahead. The 2027 venue package is $7,710 and the 2028 package $8,000, with catering from $103pp and every add-on itemised.
There is a minimum guest number and it changes by season: 80 in peak (September–April), 70 off-peak (May–August) — and off-peak also carries 10% off the venue.
The 1am licence costs extra. It is one of the few Yarra Valley venues that can run that late, but it is not included.
Dietary requirements are catered for at additional cost — a $19pp supplement. Worth budgeting rather than assuming.
Dog-friendly, and the accommodation can be booked out entirely for exclusive use of the property.

THE VENUE PACKAGE IS SEPARATE FROM AND ADDITIONAL TO THE PER-HEAD CATERING, and is published for two years: 'Wedding Venue Package 2027 - $7,710' and 'Wedding Venue Package 2028 - $8,000'. Described as 'Everything you need for your ceremony and reception'.
BEVERAGE PACKAGES ARE A THIRD SEPARATE LINE: 'House Package - $85 per person (beer, wine, soft drinks)'; a 'Locals Package' at a figure not captured '(local wines, beers & soft drinks - excludes spirits)'; and 'Top Tier Package - $105 per person (same as locals package + sparkling wine)'. A spirits upgrade is '$33pp'.
SO THE REAL COST IS THREE LAYERS: venue package + catering per head + beverage per head. A 2027 wedding at the cheapest options is $7,710 + $103pp + $85pp before any extras. The per-head figure alone would badly understate it.
MINIMUM GUEST NUMBERS ARE SEASONAL AND OFF-PEAK IS DISCOUNTED: 'Minimum Guest Numbers. Peak season (September to April): 80 guests. Off-peak (May to August): 70 guests, plus 10% off venue.' The enquiry form repeats it: 'Minimum 80 guests for peak season and 70 for off-peak bookings.'

THE 1AM LICENCE IS AN EXTRA: the venue advertises '1am Licence (additional cost)' among its headline features. It is one of the few Yarra Valley venues able to run to 1am, but the licence is not included in the package.
