Tradewinds Hotel
About
Overview & Vibe
The Tradewinds Hotel has anchored East Fremantle's wedding story for decades — a white heritage hotel above the Swan River whose rooftop terrace catches golden light off the water. Ceremony, reception and accommodation all live under one roof.
Setting & Style
Vows happen on the Rooftop Terrace — festoon lights, LOVE letters and river views for up to 220 guests — or on the Palm Balcony's veranda. Receptions then fill the Plympton Room (150 seated), the Palm Room (60 seated) or the intimate Heritage Room, with in-house chefs building custom menus from premium local ingredients. Hotel rooms upstairs mean the last dance is a lift ride from bed.
Ideal For
Couples wanting a full wedding weekend in Freo — rooftop sunset ceremony, riverside reception and guest rooms in the same historic building.
