Ingrid Kjelling has been a full-time wedding photographer since 2017, with hundreds of weddings behind her, and she works from Bunbury up and down the coast between Perth and Margaret River. Her pitch is unfussy and specific: good vibes, laughter and love, for the fun, modern couple. Nothing forced, nothing awkward, just moments that will still matter twenty years from now. She caps herself at three weddings a month, which is unusual and tells you how she works.
She calls it simple, documentary-style photography inspired by you, a wholesome blend of unscripted moments and flattering, relaxed portraits. She describes herself as a go-with-the-flow shooter who takes a lot of in-between moments, details and guest candids along the way, and she has always been drawn to genuine laughter and a whole lot of chaos rather than perfectly posed portraits. If you are nervous in front of a camera she has heard it before: of her couples say the same thing.
Couples anywhere between Perth and Margaret River who want someone local to the South West rather than a visitor. The four-hour Short Story is built for micro-weddings and intimate gatherings; the ten-hour Extended Story covers getting ready through to the party. Anyone who is not big on public affection, wants their pets in the photographs, or fancies a few rolls of 35mm film alongside the digital, will find all three answered plainly on her site.
Four packages: for up to four hours, for six, for eight and for ten, each including a discount on an engagement or pre-wedding shoot and free travel within an hour of Bunbury, two hours on the largest package. A second photographer an hour and extra coverage an hour. Booking up front, with Klarna and custom payment plans available. Sneak peeks land the day after the wedding; the full gallery takes three to eight weeks and a full day typically runs 700 to 1,000 images. Most couples book eight to twelve months ahead.
