Setting & Style

The rooms are the draw, and the views come with them. The Hastings Room is the biggest at 269 square metres — 180 for a banquet, 230 cocktail — with a full private bar, a ceiling-mounted projector and screen, and its own bathrooms inside the room. The River Room is the sought-after one, 160 square metres of panoramic river views, soft-tone furnishings and glistening lights at night, at 80 banquet or 100 cocktail. Combined, the two make 424 square metres for 250 seated or 330 standing. A Pre-Function space in its own nook off Jimmy’s Bar & Lounge handles 40 seated or 50 cocktail. An easy walk to the town centre and the beaches, ten minutes from the airport, with ample parking.

Price Notes

The Westport Club publishes its catering prices in a celebrations pack dated July 2026, but not its room hire. Every food and drink page carries the note 'room hire costs apply', and no hire figure appears in either the celebrations pack or the 2025 venue booklet - so the venue rental is the one number a couple has to request.
Banquet service is $55 per guest for two courses or $70 for three, minimum 20 guests, choosing two dishes from each course served alternately. Additional extras are priced per guest on top: chef's selection canapes $5, garlic bread $4, antipasto $8, a fresh prawn plate $10, garden salad $3, seasonal fruit plate $7 and a cheeseboard $10.
Grazing platters are priced each, for a minimum of 10 guests: crusty bread and house-made dips $80; antipasto, cheese board, assorted sandwiches or wraps, fresh seasonal fruit, and assorted cakes, slices and treats all $100; hot finger food, vegetarian finger food and a gluten free platter $120 each; premium finger food $150; and a hot and cold seafood platter $180. Individual platters of 20 pieces run from $95 for mini bruschetta, duck spring rolls or house-made arancini, through $125 for zucchini flowers, coconut prawns or salt and pepper squid cones, $130 for beer-battered flathead cones, to $150 for Wagyu cheeseburger sliders, pulled pork sliders or mini boutique sweet treats. Barista-made coffee and assorted tea is $4.50 per guest with a minimum of 10.
Drinks packages require a minimum of 10 guests and are $32 per guest for two hours, $43 for three and $57 for four, covering tap beers, Vivo wines, stubbies including cider and soft drinks, with other domestic range beers available on request. Bespoke packages are available on request through the events team.
