The Darwin Trailer Boat Club sits on Atkins Drive at Fannie Bay, overlooking the calm water of the bay with palms along the foreshore and the yachts moored offshore.
It is a relaxed coastal club rather than a formal function centre, and the spaces are named after the sailcloth that shades them. Green Sails sits on the far right of the club overlooking the water, shaded by sailcloth and the most private and premium of the areas — half of it takes a hundred seated or a hundred and fifty seated-and-standing, and the full area two hundred and twenty seated or four hundred and fifty combined. White Sails is the spacious sibling. The Reception Area sits under cover with overhead fans near the pool and playground, which makes it the one couples pick when children are coming. The Waterfront Grass Area is as close to the beach as you can get without sand underfoot and suits a cocktail party of forty. The whole Clubhouse can be reserved for large-scale celebrations.
Couples wanting a large, relaxed waterfront club wedding with a genuine Darwin tropical sunset.
Green Sails — a sailcloth-shaded private area right on the water at Fannie Bay, for up to 450.
