Port Douglas Wedding Photography is a four-photographer team — Braden, Awena, Rob and Jacky — with Shobha coordinating from the office. Between them they cover the whole Douglas Shire look: the Sugar Wharf at low tide, St Mary’s by the Sea, cane fields, rainforest creeks and palm-lined beaches at sunset.
Style & Approach
Their stated aim is to shoot fun and candid as unobtrusively as possible, while still providing structure for the group and family photographs — both halves of that sentence matter. In post they adjust every image but deliberately avoid heavy treatment, preferring photographs that stay true to the day rather than dating with trendy editing. Two of the four came to weddings from underwater photography on the Great Barrier Reef.
