Nu Nu
About
Overview & Vibe
Nu Nu sits directly on the sand at Palm Cove, an award-winning beachfront restaurant under the coconut palms on the Esplanade, twenty-five minutes north of Cairns.
Setting & Style
Receptions run on the outdoor wooden deck strung with fairy lights, with the beach and the coconut palms immediately beyond, or scale all the way down to an intimate fairy-lit table for two set on the sand. Ceremonies are commonly held at the Alamanda Great Barrier Reef Chapel, a short stroll along the beach, before guests walk back for dinner. The kitchen is the draw — award-winning food and wine pairings from executive chef Nick Holloway — and the same team caters offsite, which means a wedding can just as easily be held in a cane field or a private property with Nu Nu doing the food. A dedicated wedding specialist handles the planning and coordinates the suppliers.
