Susan Jacobs has photographed from Dalby since 2016, and 2026 is her tenth year. She grew up on her family’s farm just outside town and still lives on it, and that country Queensland setting runs through her work, she photographs weddings across the Western Downs and the Darling Downs, from Tara, Chinchilla and Miles through to Toowoomba and Kingaroy.

She works two ways within the same day. Alongside that she directs a smaller set of creative portraits, because there the intention changes from recording the day to making a piece of art the couple can hang.
