Wildly Devoted is Genevieve and James, a wedding photography and film duo based in Hobart. They photograph across Tasmania and travel Australia-wide, to New Zealand and internationally for destination weddings — intimate elopements, heartfelt gatherings and grand celebrations alike. Genevieve leads the photography; James is behind the video camera.
Their own description is a blend of editorial, lifestyle and documentary: the polished side of editorial storytelling, with the warmth and emotion of the day at its core. Candid, unposed moments matter to them as much as timeless, artful portraits, and the work is rich in colour and atmosphere. Genevieve describes her approach as natural and documentary rather than posed, while still happily organising the group formals if you want a mix of both.
Couples marrying anywhere in Tasmania who want the whole day covered in photography, film, or both — and couples planning something further afield, since travel is quoted into a single fixed price rather than added afterwards. Elopements are a real part of the offer rather than an afterthought, with their own package tier.
Wedding coverage comes as six, eight or ten hours. Elopement packages start at $1,050, and couples booking photo and film together pay an average of $4,600 — a detailed brochure is sent on enquiry. Sneak peek images land within 48 hours and a teaser film within days. Travel is included in the quote at a fixed price with no hidden fees. Two cameras are used on the day, each recording to two cards, with professional backup gear behind them. A deposit secures the date; it transfers without a fee if you postpone, but is not refundable on cancellation. RAW files are not released.
Photo and film from one team who work together every wedding — and you can still book photography alone if film is not for you. The film side is not an add-on bolted to a photography business: a 4K highlight film, a teaser cut within days, and the ceremony and speeches in full all sit inside the same wedding package.
