About

Overview & Vibe

Sen Vineyard sits on 50 acres at White Hills, on the ridge above the Tamar Valley and fifteen minutes from both Launceston and its airport. The estate is a working vineyard with a single modern glass-walled house at its centre, and the whole proposition is privacy: mountain views in every direction, no neighbours, and a sky the owners describe as star-strewn and occasionally lit by the southern lights.

Setting & Style

Resolutely contemporary rather than rustic. Wrap-around glass walls and a wrap-around veranda, a 4.5-metre island bench, a marble dining table, in-ceiling speakers and a courtyard with a fire pit. Ceremonies happen on the open grass in front of the house or under an arbour on the ridge, with the vineyard rows and the valley behind.

Ideal For

Couples who want a private estate to themselves rather than a function room, and who like clean modern architecture over barns and barrels — with a house on site so the wedding party can stay the night.

The Need-to-Knows

  • No capacity and no prices are published. The venue quotes on enquiry; there is an expression-of-interest form and a separate page for couples who already hold a quote.
  • Catering is by an external partner. Matson Catering of Invermay is named as the preferred caterer and its wedding menus are hosted on the Sen website. Package structures are published — cocktail grazing, alternate placement, gourmet buffet and shared platters — but the menus carry no prices at all, and grazing tables are marked price on application. Menu pricing is inclusive of kitchen and food staffing for up to six hours on site.
  • Menu packages are based on a minimum of 20 guests.
  • Accommodation is on site. The Cloud is a three-bedroom house sleeping six — a king master with open-plan ensuite and two queen rooms, a lounge with a 75-inch TV, ducted air conditioning, a French Cheminées Philippe wood heater, a covered garage and a courtyard fire pit. It is self-catered, with a chef package available on enquiry.
  • Note the accommodation terms. The Cloud’s booking conditions state “No visitors allowed except paying guests” and “Strictly no parties or gatherings allowed”. Those conditions govern a stay booked on its own; a wedding is booked as an event through the venue. Worth confirming which applies when booking both.
  • The site is age-gated behind a liquor-licence check, and there is plenty of parking.

Standout Feature

A glass house alone on 50 acres of ridge-top vineyard, with the Tamar Valley on every side and somewhere for the wedding party to sleep.

Price Notes

  • There is no venue hire figure, no per-head figure and no package price. Complete your booking details here to confirm.'
  • Plain extraction, layout-mode extraction and a glyph-position dump of the package page all returned no currency figures at all, so the prices are genuinely absent rather than lost in extraction. Grazing tables are explicitly marked 'price on application'.
  • Menu terms that are published: 'Packages are based on a minimum of 20 guests.' Menu pricing is 'Inclusive of kitchen and food staffing for up to 6 hours onsite at your venue.' Guests may pre-select alternate-placement courses from the invitation on RSVP at no additional charge. Vendor and children's meals are available and tailored to the style of dinner. Shared platters are 'served between 6 - 8 guests per shared feast'.
  • That validity window closed on 30 June 2026, before this listing was written. Confirm current menus on enquiry.
  • Catering is external: 'Please download options from Matson Catering, our preferred catering partner, below.' Matson Catering, 10 South Street, Invermay TAS, phone (03) 6331 7302. The accommodation is separately described as 'Self-catered property. Chef package available upon enquiry.'
