A Heathcote vineyard at Toolleen with a modern cellar door raised on steel legs above the vines — long glass walls, a timber ceiling and a deck that runs the length of the building looking out over the rows to open country. Thirty minutes from Bendigo, ninety from Melbourne. The estate does weddings in partnership with Mackenzie Quarters, and is unusually clear about the division: “Tellurian is the venue, Mackenzie Quarters handles all of the planning.”
