About

Overview & Vibe

Panama Dining Room perches on the second floor of Panama House, an early-1900s textile factory on Smith Street, Fitzroy. Eight soaring arched windows, exposed brick and timber floors give it the feel of a New York loft that somehow landed in Melbourne’s coolest neighbourhood — and more than a thousand weddings have been thrown here since 2006.

Setting & Style

The whole room goes exclusive-use on limited dates each year: candlelit long tables under the arches, city views over the rooftops, and a dining-led kitchen with curated drinks doing the heavy lifting. Couples marry in front of the great windows, dance beneath them, and let Fitzroy’s night unfold below.

Ideal For

Couples who want a warehouse-loft wedding with genuine restaurant food and Fitzroy character — stylish but never stiff.
