Lachlan grew up on a farm in Gippsland, moved to the city to chase film-making, and now photographs weddings out of the Yarra Valley. The tone of his own writing is the tone couples describe back to him, warm, funny, low on ceremony. One called him a hype man; several say he took the stress out of the couple portraits, which is usually the part people dread.
