Broome Weddings and Events is a private beachfront venue on Simpson Beach (Nagulanjulan), looking over Roebuck Bay (Yawuru Nagulagun), eight minutes from Broome (Rubibi). It is a dedicated wedding and events venue rather than a resort that also does functions, and it is not otherwise open to the public — guests only see it if they are invited to something.
Setting & Style
Predominantly outdoors: a decked area under a beachfront marquee, manicured gardens and lawns running down to Pindan-red sand and turquoise water. Four ceremony settings are offered — on the beach itself, on the grass, in a garden semi-circle facing the ocean, or in an amphitheatre-style slipway with a beach view. A newer glass-fronted ballroom with a rustic industrial barn feel gives an indoor option and wet-weather redundancy.

The Need-to-Knows
- Every guest arrives by bus. The venue's traffic management plan requires all guests to be transported to and from the site; on-site parking is limited to essential vendors. Bus transfers are charged in proportion to guest numbers. Budget for it from the start.
- Venue hire is exclusive use from 2pm to midnight, any day of the week, with earlier starts negotiable.
- Hire includes function coordination, professional bar staff, glassware, ice, electricity, cleaning, bathroom consumables, and atmospheric lighting — festoon, LED strip, fairy lights and coloured spotlights.
- There is a commercial kitchen rated for functions up to 300, but kitchen usage fees apply on top of hire.
- No minimum guest requirement — the venue explicitly welcomes small and intimate celebrations.
- Wedding coordination is complimentary and included in all events.
- Booking is by email with a date preference, then a non-refundable booking fee secures it.
