A Balinese-style villa resort a stroll from Cable Beach, built around tropical gardens, a large free-form saltwater pool and a day spa. The whole property is low-rise, thatched and planted heavily — carved timber gates, stone statues, frangipani — and it reads as a garden rather than a hotel.
Setting & Style
Ceremonies go in the tropical gardens, on lawn framed by palms and flowering trees. The reception side is the Bali Hai Café & Restaurant, which has an air-conditioned dining room and an alfresco deck that faces the sunset, and which the resort says caters weddings, conferences and functions. Accommodation is self-contained villas, most with an outdoor ‘Mandi’ bathroom — showering under the stars — and a private courtyard with its own barbecue.
Ideal For
Couples marrying at Cable Beach who want the ceremony, the dinner and the guest accommodation on one small property, with a spa on site and the beach a short walk away.
The Need-to-Knows
- No capacity and no wedding pricing are published anywhere. The resort says only that it runs “from intimate weddings to large weddings” and asks you to enquire.
- The restaurant opens Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm and its menus are á la carte, not function packages.
- Dietary marking is thorough but the kitchen is candid about its limits — no separate fryer for coeliacs, allergens in all sections, and substitutions are not accommodated.
- Broome is seasonal. The resort describes May to October as the dry season and November to April as the wet, with thunderstorms January to April.
- Villas are self-contained, with kitchens, laundries and barbecues — suited to guests staying several nights.

- The dinner menu runs $28 to $31 for entrees and $42 to $70 for mains, for example Surf & Turf at $62, vegan curry at $42 and free-range pork belly at $52. Sides are $15. These are a la carte restaurant prices rather than a function package.
