Bridal by Aubrey Rose
About
Overview & Vibe
Bridal by Aubrey Rose has been in Mount Hawthorn since 2011, and its owner has the best origin story in this campaign: Georgina bought her own wedding dress here in 2012, and on the same date eight years later — 2 November 2020 — bought the boutique.
Dress Styles & Designers
103 wedding dresses across thirteen labels, led by Hera Couture (25 gowns) and Jane Hill (16, and the top of the price range), with Lillian West, Rachel Rose, Kellylin Couture, Peter Trends, JRW Bridal, Chic Nostalgia, Modeca, Oksana Mukha, Ingrid Olić and Jonté Designs. The site lets you shop by silhouette — A-line, fitted, princess and sets — and runs a substantial separate veil business sorted by classic, lace, pearl and sparkle.
Ideal For
The bride who wants designer names at a mid-market price and a boutique small enough that the owner is likely to be in it. Gowns run $400 to $6,820 with a median around $3,000, and there is a genuine sample-sale rack of pre-loved store samples for brides on a short timeframe or a tight budget.
The Need-to-Knows
The boutique accommodates a bride plus up to four guests — more generous than most — and photography and video are actively encouraged, including FaceTime for absent family. A Luxe Fitting buys the boutique to yourself for 90 minutes with bubbles, nibbles and a stylist, and its booking fee is fully redeemable against a dress purchase. Start looking 10–12 months out; ordering takes 6–10 months depending on designer and season, and does not include alterations. Rush orders are available but vary by designer. Alterations are not done in house — the boutique says so plainly and refers brides on. Veils take 3–4 weeks for in-store pickup, 6 weeks shipped.
Standout Feature
Take all the photos you like. Where much of the industry bans cameras in the fitting room at the designers' request, this boutique says it encourages photos and video 'so you can look back on your favourites later' — a small policy that changes the whole feel of an appointment.

Dress Experience
- The boutique accommodates a bride plus up to four guests, and asks brides wanting more to make contact or book the Luxe Fitting instead. The Luxe Fitting gives the bride the boutique to herself for an extended 90-minute session with an experienced bridal stylist, free-flowing bubbles and mimosas and nibbles for her guests, and its booking fee is fully redeemable against a dress purchase. Photography and video are encouraged rather than restricted — the team says it loves helping brides with photos and FaceTime so they can review favourites later. The only thing the boutique asks a bride to bring is appropriate underwear, nude and seamless; no heels are required. Alterations are not carried out in house and are entirely separate to the boutique's services, though the team will refer brides on when the time comes.
