JULIET studio
About
Overview & Vibe
JULIET studio is a small, deliberately intimate Subiaco boutique carrying five Australian bridal labels and nothing else. Founder Brittany Mason came to it sideways — a decade in bridal beauty, more than 600 weddings as a hair and makeup artist, seven years at Mecca, and a childhood in her mother's boutique Harry & Gretel — and the shop reads that way: calm, curated, and run by someone who has stood beside a lot of brides on the morning itself.
Dress Styles & Designers
Five labels, all Australian, all made to order: KYHA Bride (est. 2011, formerly One Day), Prea James, L'eto Bridal — handcrafted in a small Northern Beaches atelier from 100% silk, one of a kind — Lola Varma, the minimal separates-and-gowns label by Courtney Illfield, and Harriette Gordon (est. 2019). The aesthetic across all five is modern and understated: slip dresses, corsetry, separates, bare backs and silk, rather than beading and cathedral trains.
Ideal For
The bride who already knows she wants an Australian label and a made-to-order gown, and would rather see five carefully chosen designers properly than forty in a warehouse. Also for anyone who values knowing the price before the appointment — see below, because this is the rare boutique that publishes it.
The Need-to-Knows
By appointment only, and bookings are taken through the website only. Fittings run 75 or 90 minutes and you may bring up to two guests — the studio is explicit that this is the number it thinks works. Start looking 10–12 months out: every label needs about seven months minimum (five to six months' production plus six to eight weeks for shipping, alterations and accessorising). Rush orders are available from all five designers for a fee — Lola Varma's is published at $400. There is no cut-off date for ordering, but the earlier the order the lower the cost.
Standout Feature
It publishes the price of every gown it sells. Each designer has its own page carrying that label's full collection range, the individual price of each gown, the lead time and the rush fee — and states that prices are inclusive of GST and shipping. Nothing else in this campaign comes close to that level of published pricing detail.

Dress Experience
- By appointment only, with bookings taken through the website alone. A bridal fitting runs 75 or 90 minutes; the session begins with the team talking the bride through the five labels, their ethos and their fabrics, before she tries a range of pieces, works through the made-to-order design process and has her measurements taken. Up to two guests are welcome — the studio says this number is deliberate, 'enough for meaningful support, without too many opinions pulling you in different directions'. The space is small and the studio describes it as intimate by design, so that each bride has the team's full attention.
