About

Overview & Vibe

Honey Bunch Botanicals is a Perth floral design studio that describes its work as floral design in conversation with space. It grew from decorating a kitchen table, to friends’ garden parties, to friends’ weddings, to a studio space taken in 2020 and a fully formed design practice by 2026. The tone is warm and unhurried - couples are addressed as sweethearts - and the work is unmistakably editorial: ground meadows, climbing vines across drapery, plinth florals and bar installs.

Style & Signature Blooms

Romantic, garden-led and built for the room it is going into. The published weddings run from soft blush-and-cream meadows spilling across a lawn, to a deep burgundy calla and grape-hyacinth tablescape, to white phalaenopsis trailing from a bouquet, to blue-and-white pillar florals on a balustrade. The studio names no set palette and no signature flower - it settles the specific varieties with each couple after booking, choosing what it calls the most expressive flowers for the day.

Ideal For

Couples marrying around Perth and the Swan Valley who want florals treated as design rather than decoration - and, for the 2026-2027 spring and summer, couples in Sydney, country New South Wales and Victoria, because the studio is travelling. It suits a large installation-led wedding, and equally an elopement: the studio deliberately holds no minimum so a couple wanting a bouquet and two buttonholes is welcome.

The Need-to-Knows

Check the published season first - August and September 2026 in New South Wales, October and November 2026 in Western Australia, with 2027 opening soon. Then fill in the hello form; back comes availability, a quote built from your wishlist, and initial design concepts. A 25 per cent deposit locks the date in, and the balance is due 30 days out. On the day the studio delivers bouquets in vases, installs ceremony and reception florals, re-styles blooms from one to the other where the design allows, packs down, and leaves the fresh flowers for you to collect.

Standout Feature

It publishes a starting figure and an explicit absence of a minimum in the same breath, and the difference between those two things is the most useful thing a couple can be told. Full wedding florals start at around $8,000, with most couples spending $8,000 to $12,000 and installation-led weddings $12,000 to $20,000 - and then: we don’t have a minimum spend, to accommodate for our sweethearts who are eloping or are only needing a few feature items. Most florists publish one or the other. Publishing both tells you where the work usually lands without shutting the door on a smaller day.

Appointment Policy

  • Start with the studio's hello form, which asks about your dream flowers.
  • You will get an email back with availability, a quote built from your wishlist, and some initial design concepts.
  • From there you can book a phone call to talk through your floral budget, or simply accept the quote.
  • A 25 per cent deposit invoice follows and officially locks the studio in.
  • In the lead-up you will settle a final floral order - specific items, colours and flower varieties - over a phone call and, if you want one, an in-person meeting.
  • Final payment falls due 30 days before the wedding, once every item is finalised.
  • Check the published season first: August and September 2026 in New South Wales, October and November 2026 in Western Australia.

Areas Serviced

  • Perth and Western Australia - the studio is based in Perth and this is its home ground.
  • The Swan Valley and the wineries and chapels around Perth.
  • Sydney and country New South Wales - the studio is travelling there for the 2026-2027 spring and summer season.
  • Victoria - also on the 2026-2027 travelling season.
  • Check the studio's published availability before you enquire: August and September 2026 in New South Wales, October and November 2026 in Western Australia, with 2027 bookings opening soon.

Delivery & Setup

  • Bouquets are delivered on the day in vases.
  • The studio sets up all ceremony and reception florals itself.
  • Where the ceremony design allows, blooms are re-styled from the ceremony into the reception - so one arrangement can work twice.
  • Pack-down is included, and fresh flowers are left at the venue for you to collect.
  • Delivery, set-up and the on-the-day services are quoted within the wedding total rather than charged separately.
