Wedding Photographers · Darwin, Northern Territory
Eagle Scenes is a Darwin wedding photographer whose work runs from barefoot ceremonies on Top End headlands to tropical garden receptions strung with fairy lights. Eagle photographs weddings across the Northern Territory and travels for couples marrying further afield, and the range on show is unusually broad: sparkler exits, temple ceremonies, traditional Vietnamese and Japanese dress, and a bridal party spilling confetti across a beach.
In her own words the work embraces a candid documentary style that values real, unscripted moments, and she has a phrase for how she works the room: she will be the ringmaster herding everyone up for a shot, or sneak around in the background capturing the natural, candid moments, whichever a couple wants. She promises no cheesiness and no forced poses.
Couples who want one photographer from the first light of getting ready through to the afterparty, and who like the idea of a photographer who arrives early simply to say hello to everyone before the cameras come out. Multicultural and destination celebrations are core work rather than an exception, and engagement sessions are sold separately for couples who want practice in front of a lens.
Wedding coverage starts from $3,850 and runs from morning to night, starting at seven hours. Every booking opens with a pre-wedding catch-up by video call, phone or in person. Deliverables include a password-protected online gallery, images sized for print and for social, a wooden USB and a custom box of prints, with a bespoke fine art album available. No delivery window is published, so ask when you enquire.
The slideshow is the unusual one: a curated image sequence set to music, retelling the day in order, and it is offered specifically for couples who did not book a videographer and still want something moving to send to family overseas.
