Wedding Photographers · Darwin, Northern Territory
North Australia Weddings is the wedding arm of a Darwin production company that also shoots corporate, real estate and events. That sounds like a warning and mostly is not: the wedding side has its own pages, its own prices and nine published weddings across Mindil Beach, Mt Bundy Station, Crab Claw Island, Pee Wee’s and the Darwin beaches. What it does not have is a photographer’s name — you are hiring a team, not a person.
They describe themselves as a fun and dynamic team who pride themselves on storytelling and attention to detail, and who want to transport a viewer to the heart of the celebration. Beyond that, nothing about how they shoot is written down. The nine published weddings carry short captions and a full credit list for every other supplier on the day.
Couples who want photography, film and a ceremony livestream from one supplier — the livestream is a genuinely unusual product, run with multiple cameras, proper audio and a dedicated operator, and it exists because Territory weddings so often have family watching from somewhere else.
Every price on this site is quoted before GST. Photography alone runs $2,000 for two hours, $2,700 for four, $3,300 for six, $3,900 for eight and $4,400 for ten, with extra coverage at $300 per half hour decided on the night. Film alone starts at $4,900 and both together at $7,900. A ceremony livestream with a recording is $1,900 for up to an hour. Travel may attract a fee.
The wedding livestream. Multiple camera angles, high quality audio, extra bandwidth and an operator whose only job is the stream — and you keep the recording. For a couple marrying in the Top End with family in another state or country, that is worth more than another hour of coverage.
