The Boat Club Function Centre sits on Buccaneer Drive at Urangan, on the Hervey Bay marina, looking across the Great Sandy Straits to World Heritage-listed K’Gari.

Setting & Style

The Fraser Room is the wedding room and the view is the argument — a hundred and eighty degrees over the Urangan marina and out to K’Gari, with its own private deck and a dedicated bar. It takes a hundred and eighty cabaret style, a hundred and sixty banquet, or three hundred for cocktails. Below it the Lower Deck runs along the boardwalk, partly sheltered and open to the marina, which works as a cocktail space in its own right or as an add-on to a reception upstairs. The Board Room and Compass Room cover smaller gatherings, and the club also has a cinema, a cruise boat and El Puerto’s restaurant on site. The functions manager has more than eighteen years in the job and the kitchen regularly caters for four hundred plus.
