Tree Tops Eungella
About
Overview & Vibe
Tree Tops is the events side of Los Toros, a working 200-acre boutique cattle farm in the hills above Eungella, adjacent to Eungella National Park. The property is grazing land, rainforest and creeks — the creeks are platypus habitat — and the farm still runs a small herd. Mick and Gabi Harding own and run it; the name is a nod to the Uruguayan town where Gabi's late father was born. The pitch is unfussy and specific: “say I do, host a private event, picnic by a creek, or enjoy cocktails with the cows.”
Setting & Style
Several ceremony locations across the property, all outdoors, all framed by rainforest or the valley falling away below. The venue's own photographs show a pampas-and-dried-flower arbour set against the ranges, white chairs on a rainforest clearing, and a cake table under the canopy. There is an outdoor bar for pre- and post-ceremony refreshments, and a Bridal Pamper Room included with either package. This is a farm, not a manicured estate: expect cattle, gravel tracks and weather.
Ideal For
Couples wanting an intimate ceremony or elopement in the Mackay hinterland rather than a full reception — the venue is explicit that this is all it offers. It suits a small guest list, a photography-led day, and people happy to move on to a restaurant or their accommodation afterwards. Tree Tops publishes a supplier list covering planners, celebrants, styling, photography, flowers, cakes, a mobile bar, classic cars and a 21-seater bus, which makes assembling the rest of the day straightforward.
The Need-to-Knows
There is no reception. The FAQ is unambiguous: “Currently, we only offer our venue for ceremony and the ceremony & refreshments package.” The ceremony package buys two hours of exclusive property access for the ceremony and photographs, with a wet weather plan — $1,900 for 2026 and 2027, $2,000 for 2028. The refreshments package adds one hour afterwards and a charcuterie grazing table for up to 30 guests at $1,500 for 2026, rising to $1,620 by 2028, and it is charged on top of the venue hire, not instead of it. Additional guests beyond 30 are $35 each and beverages are extra. Ceremony furniture is priced separately: seating and a signing table for 12 is $400, a timber arbour $200. Parking is severely limited — the venue asks that a bus be organised to bring guests in, with only the couple's and suppliers' vehicles on site. A 20% non-refundable deposit secures the date, the balance falls due 30 days out, and cancelling inside 30 days forfeits everything paid. No accommodation is offered on site. The hire fee is the same on any day of the week.
Standout Feature
Pricing published three years ahead. Tree Tops lists its 2026, 2027 and 2028 rates side by side, for both packages, with every add-on itemised — a couple booking two years out knows the exact number. Almost nothing else in this campaign does that.

Price Notes
- Unusually, rates are published three years ahead. CEREMONY ONLY: $1,900 for 2026 and 2027, $2,000 for 2028 — two hours of exclusive property access for the ceremony and photographs, including a wet weather plan. REFRESHMENTS: $1,500 for 2026, $1,560 for 2027, $1,620 for 2028 — one hour of post-ceremony refreshments, a wet weather plan and a charcuterie grazing table for up to 30 guests, each additional guest $35. Crucially the page states "Venue hire extra as above", so the refreshments figure is charged ON TOP of the ceremony fee rather than instead of it; beverages are also extra. A Bridal Pamper Room is included in both options. Ceremony extras, each priced: signing table, chairs and ceremony seating for 12 people $400; round timber wedding arbour $200; 150cm round ceremony mat $60; timber easel sign stand $60. Dessert tables, wedding favours, picnics for two and a Bridal Pamper Room breakfast and lunch menu are all P.O.A. The hire fee is identical on every day of the week — "every wedding day is equally special". Terms: a non-refundable 20% deposit secures the booking, the balance is due no later than 30 days before the event, cancellation more than 60 days out refunds everything except the deposit, between 60 and 30 days refunds 50% less the deposit, and inside 30 days forfeits all monies paid.
