Hedlow Creek runs through the property, with walking trails, canoes and communal firepits along it.

Setting & Style

The reception is the Pavilion Marquee — 10m × 21m, fully enclosed, silk-lined with chandeliers, seating 180, and openable along one side to sweeping views of the creek. Ceremonies go either at a sun-kissed arbour beside the glassy water or “in the dramatic shadows of Mt Hedlow”. The venue's line is that the space, inside and out, is yours to style: “The venue (both inside and outside) is yours to create a celebration that is uniquely you.”

Ideal For

Couples who want a big marquee wedding in genuinely dramatic country, who are happy to appoint their own planner and caterer, and who want twenty-five of their people sleeping on site for two or three nights.

The Need-to-Knows

The package is venue plus accommodation, and it is priced. 2 nights from $9,440 midweek (Tue–Thu) or $9,660 weekend (Fri–Sun); 3 nights from $11,160 midweek or $11,480 weekend. Each covers marquee and outdoor venue hire, run-of-house accommodation for up to 25 guests, all linen and towels, and an event coordinator for the bump-in. Pricing is stated valid 1 January – 31 December 2026 and subject to final quote.
BYO wedding planner, catering, alcohol and bar service — stated plainly, in those words. The venue publishes a long list of local recommended photographers, caterers, celebrants, videographers, planners, florists and mobile bars instead.
The marquee comes properly equipped. 180 white Italian resin folding chairs, 15 rectangular trestle tables and 15 round tables, two fully equipped kitchens, a cold room, a deep freeze, eight metal drink tubs, two 8-litre urns, a marquee dance floor (and an outside one on request), a moveable bar on request, and cable reels.
Accommodation is 25 beds across three types — four ensuite studio rooms in Hedlow Lodge (one fully accessible, as is the Lodge), a one-bedroom cabin and a studio cabin, both self-contained. Outside a wedding, Lodge rooms are from $285 a night, minimum two nights.
It is a retreat as well as a venue — walking trails, canoes, communal firepits, sporting equipment and conference facilities. Good for a weekend wedding, and a reason to confirm exclusive use.
