Esperance Chalet Village is one of the town's original holiday destinations, carved from sand dunes over expansive acreage and reworked into a small design-led retreat of white A-frame chalets, king shacks and log cabins. A wedding takes the whole place: weddings and events have exclusive use of the village and grounds.

Setting & Style

Ceremonies and receptions centre on The Creek House, a bespoke space the venue also uses for wellness retreats and long-table lunches, seating 36 or holding 60 for a cocktail reception. The grounds are planted with hakea, banksia, paperbark and saltbush, there is black bream fishing in the creek, and Bandy Creek boat harbour is a five-minute walk from the back of the property — close enough that you hear the waves at night.

The Need-to-Knows

Exclusive use comes with a minimum two-night stay — three nights over a public holiday weekend, and five nights over the Christmas period from 20 December to 14 January. The village buy-out fee is reduced for off-season and mid-week bookings.
The village sleeps 36 across 17 rooms, and The Creek House seats 36 or holds 60 cocktail-style. Those two numbers together define the wedding.
Most of the accommodation is adult only and stated as not suitable for infants or children. Check this early if your guest list includes families.
There is no office or reception on site. All visits are by appointment, and guests self check in with a room number and gate code emailed beforehand.
Catering and kitchen facilities are on site for groups to cook — a gourmet stove, an outdoor kitchen fire and a Gozney pizza oven — alongside the option of caterers.

Room types and published rates: Studio Chalet from $280 per night, king-bed A-frame studios with crisp white interiors or queen-bed originals with timber-clad interiors, artisan tea and coffee, mini bar fridge, communal kitchen with gas cooker, BBQ and outdoor fire, smart TV, air conditioning and own bathroom. Large Chalet from $320, an A-frame hideaway with a plush king bed on the upper level and treetop views from the balcony, sharing the village kitchen. King Shack from $350, the two premium shacks with king beds, pure linen bedding, bath and separate shower, full kitchen, outdoor garden shower and private BBQ. Twin Shack from $350. All are two-guest maximum with a two-night minimum, five nights over the Christmas peak, and are adult only - not suitable for infants or children. A cottage suits families.
