A resort estate on the northern edge of Coffs Harbour, running from the Pacific Highway down to Charlesworth Bay Beach, with three swimming pools, a nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, a day spa and a tropical lagoon at its centre. It has been running events for over twenty years and won Business Event Venue of the Year at the 2023 North Coast Tourism Awards.

Setting & Style

Choice, rather than one signature room. Ceremonies go on Charlesworth Bay Beach, on lawns with mountain and lagoon views, or in the tropical gardens by the pools. Receptions use the Bayside Bar and Grill and its decks over the lagoon and golf course, the Island Courtyard, the Bayside Green, or the conference centre — nine rooms on a single level that open into one another, the largest being the Charlesworth Room at 620 m².

Ideal For

Large weddings and destination weddings — guests fly into Coffs, stay on site, and never need a car. The resort explicitly markets itself for cultural wedding celebrations.

The Need-to-Knows

Catering is priced per head and published. Cocktail canapé package $58pp; two-course alternate service $63pp and three-course $73pp; the gourmet menu $69pp and $79pp. Minimum 20 guests for the alternate service. Rates are from the venue’s 2025 function menus.
Weddings are quoted to 500 guests, and the room matrix goes higher — the Charlesworth Room alone seats 520 for a banquet or 1,000 cocktail. Ask which configuration your number needs.
Nothing else about the place depends on it, but it is worth knowing before you read anything else as gospel.
Dietary requirements are marked dish by dish — (V), (VG) and (GF) run through every course of the function menus, including a fully vegan entrée.
The two wedding-specific brochures are old. The inspiration guide was authored in February 2024 and the wedding kit in March 2023 — both outside the two-year window — so any figures in them should be confirmed. The function menus are current.

Ten minutes from Coffs Harbour airport, and roughly halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, which is the point for a guest list flying in.

The resort gives three different sizes for its own property — 200 acres in one place, 100 in another. Either way it extends to the secluded Charlesworth Bay beach.
Pricing is provided on enquiry. The resort promises "great value all-inclusive wedding packages" and directs you to its wedding team, but publishes no package price, venue hire fee or minimum spend.
