Bendooley Estate is the Southern Highlands’ signature — the Berkelouw Book Barn’s walls of rare books, a lake with its own ceremony pavilion, and The Stables’ light-filled halls, all on one storied property outside Berrima.
Vows run lakeside at the pavilion or through the European gardens by the heritage homestead, before receptions choose their character: the Book Barn’s firelit, book-lined warmth or The Stables’ contemporary volume for up to 200 guests with countryside views. The estate’s chefs build seasonal menus from shared feasts to plated dining, poured with Bendooley’s own wines, while the dedicated wedding team and day-of coordinators run the show. On-site cottages and a couples’ suite keep the party on the property.
Couples wanting the Highlands’ most famous rooms — vows by the lake and dinner among ten thousand books.
The Book Barn — shelves of rare books rising over the reception like a private library.
