The house has been home to the Storrier family for decades — the artist Tim Storrier and his wife Janet — and it shows. The family’s private sculpture collection is part of the landscape rather than displayed in it: works appear at the turn of a path, beside a pond, at the edge of a lawn. The gardens follow one guiding principle, that nothing should stand out because everything belongs.
