A Georgian-style manor house on Saddlebags Road at Kangarilla, in the McLaren Vale hills, reached down a tree-lined avenue. Terraced gardens wrap the house on three sides and each side is a different ceremony site. The estate is a winery, a function venue and a seven-suite hotel at once.

Setting & Style

Three named outdoor ceremony lawns: the Grand Fountain Lawn in front of the house under the portico, the ‘Church’ Pillared Lawn at the rear where the pillars and the house make “the framework of an outdoor church”, and the smaller Palm Lawn Gardens with a wedding gazebo. Inside: marble floors, ornate plaster ceilings, open fireplaces and four-poster beds.
