Feathertop is a family-owned estate on the Great Alpine Road at Porepunkah, ten minutes out of Bright, with 360-degree views over the vineyard to Mount Buffalo. Weddings here are sold as a whole exclusive weekend rather than a day, and the estate is closed to the public by appointment only.
The estate is Tuscan-inspired: stone terracing and stairs, a building set into the hillside, and long tables under the trees strung with festoon lights. Receptions can run against a backdrop of towering vintage wine barrels or in a subterranean vault, and ceremonies take the mountain view.
Couples who want one supplier to carry the whole weekend — planning, coordination, styling, catering, wine, beds and buses — and whose budget matches a package that starts at $85,000.
An entire alpine wine estate for the weekend, with Mount Buffalo filling the view and the buses already booked.
