Borambola Wines
About
Overview & Vibe
Borambola Wines is a family-owned winery on the Sturt Highway between Wagga Wagga and Gundagai, with an 1880s homestead, a vineyard, and a purpose-built shed that takes the reception.
Setting & Style
The Vine Shed is the reception room — a ten by twenty metre space with an outdoor veranda and a dance floor, kitted out with timber cross-back chairs, linen, glassware, cool room facilities, a sound system with cordless microphone and lighting inside and out. Ceremonies happen in the gardens, with a choice of arbours, white ceremony chairs, an antique signing table and wrought iron easels provided, and wet-weather alternatives held in reserve. The estate throws in the things that usually cost extra: lawn games, outdoor furniture, private use of the Stables for getting ready, on-site parking, two hours of venue access the afternoon before for the rehearsal, and a fifty-seven seat coach from the centre of Wagga.
Ideal For
Couples who want a country winery with the logistics handled — including getting guests out from town and back again.

Price Notes
- No pricing is published, but the inclusions list is unusually detailed and is what a quote is built around. Across the winery and estate the package covers outdoor lawn games, multiple photography locations, outdoor furniture, private use of the Stables for preparation, on-site parking, and a 57-seat coach from Wagga city centre. For the ceremony it covers multiple garden areas, wedding arbours, white ceremony chairs, an antique signing table and chairs, wrought iron easels, and wet weather options. For the Vine Shed reception space, a 10 by 20 metre venue with an outdoor veranda and dance floor, it covers tables, timber cross back chairs, linens, glassware and staffing, cool room facilities, a sound system with cordless microphone, indoor and outdoor lighting, two hours of venue access the afternoon prior for rehearsals, and set up and pack down. The venue is licensed and no BYO is permitted; a cash bar or bar tab can be managed on the wedding day. Catering is restricted to four approved caterers: Lamotte's, Lime Leaf, Marbull, and Michele Seymour of Marrar Kitchen & Co. The cellar door is open Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
