Setting & Style

There are three ceremony settings and three ways to hold the reception. Vows happen at the lakefront rotunda reached along a lake boardwalk, under the wisteria of the Arbour in the private garden, or in front of a stone-stacked outdoor fireplace ringed by sandstone pillars and eucalypts — the fireplace doubling as the wet-weather alternative. Receptions run in deVine, the wood-panelled upstairs room in the original house with a vaulted ceiling, bay windows and a wrap-around verandah; in the large enclosed Marquee over the vineyard, heated by glass tube tornado heaters against the South Gippsland cold; or around the Merbau bar in The Grazing Room.

Holland House sits on 42 acres adjacent to the winery. The venue describes it as a blend of modern farmhouse and cottage with three generous bedrooms - the Champagne Suite with a king bed, retreat and ensuite, the Burgundy Room with a king bed, and the Rose Room with a queen bed and ensuite - plus a main bathroom and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opening onto a north-facing deck over the vineyard. It is booked separately from the wedding package and no rate is published.
