djinta djinta is a cool-climate winery at Kardella South in the rolling hills of South Gippsland, looking across its own cascading vineyard to the Strzelecki Ranges. Every wedding couple gets exclusive use of the estate as part of a personalised package.
Setting & Style
There are three ceremony settings and three ways to hold the reception. Vows happen at the lakefront rotunda reached along a lake boardwalk, under the wisteria of the Arbour in the private garden, or in front of a stone-stacked outdoor fireplace ringed by sandstone pillars and eucalypts — the fireplace doubling as the wet-weather alternative. Receptions run in deVine, the wood-panelled upstairs room in the original house with a vaulted ceiling, bay windows and a wrap-around verandah; in the large enclosed Marquee over the vineyard, heated by glass tube tornado heaters against the South Gippsland cold; or around the Merbau bar in The Grazing Room.

The venue describes it as a blend of modern farmhouse and cottage with three generous bedrooms - the Champagne Suite with a king bed, retreat and ensuite, the Burgundy Room with a king bed, and the Rose Room with a queen bed and ensuite - plus a main bathroom and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opening onto a north-facing deck over the vineyard.
