The estate describes itself as “a uniquely secluded venue” that “imparts a feeling of remoteness without sacrificing convenience, accessibility, or amenities”, and it is run by operators with over 30 years of experience.
Setting & Style
The ceremony happens outdoors on a lawn ringed by a cluster of old gum trees, then “flows seamlessly into a marquee reception” — a clear- or white-roofed structure with timber flooring, festoon lighting inside and out and a timber dance floor. A 300-tree olive grove is being established across the grounds.
Ideal For
Couples who want a blank-canvas marquee wedding on private riverfront land and intend to bring their own food and drink — the estate is built around that, not around an in-house kitchen.
The Need-to-Knows
- BYO food and beverages are permitted. “This flexibility extends to catering, allowing you to supply your own food and beverages, ensuring you can share your favourite cuisine and wines with your guests.” The packages are priced as “Venue Package | BYO” on that basis.
- The marquee package is the infrastructure, not the catering. It covers the structure, timber flooring, roof and walls, lighting, dance floor, chairs, timber tables, crockery, cutlery, glassware, napkins, bar, lounges, generator and cabling, toilets, transport and labour.
- $9,200 for 50 guests, then $79 per extra guest, with a 25% off offer running at the time of listing.
- Capacity runs from 50 to 300. Fifty is a floor as well as a ceiling — the venue package is priced from that number.
- Optional catering is a third party. Drinks are “supplied & Managed by Cherry Catering or BYO”, and the per-head food figures on the site carry the venue's own note “Prices as at January 2024” — confirm them before budgeting.
- Reverse-cycle air conditioning is included and a cool room is an optional upgrade, both within the grounds.

- A ceremony-only package is $2,500, discounted to $1,875, covering the furniture package, 22 chairs, arbour, signing table set-up and venue hire. There is no reception attached to it.
- You can bring your own food and drink, and that is rather the point of the venue: "This flexibility extends to catering, allowing you to supply your own food and beverages, ensuring you can share your favourite cuisine and wines with your guests." The pricing reinforces it — you save by going BYO on both.
- Optional catering is handled by a third party and the rates carry the venue's own January 2024 stamp: a roast buffet menu with five-hour drinks service from $96 per person, a cocktail menu with five-hour drinks service from $103, and plated dinner on request. Worth confirming these are current.

- Running order for a reception wedding: set-up from 2pm, ceremony at 4pm, reception 5pm to 11pm. Ceremony-only bookings run up to three slots a day — morning with gates at 9:00am and the ceremony 9:30–10:00am, midday with gates at 12:30pm and the ceremony 1:00–1:30pm, and an afternoon slot reserved for couples holding their reception here. From 1 May to 30 August the midday and afternoon times move 30 minutes earlier.
- All the essential amenities are on the grounds, including reverse-cycle air conditioning, with a cool room available as an upgrade. Toilets in the marquee package are portable.
