The Vines Resort
About
Overview & Vibe
A resort and country club on the edge of the Swan Valley with 36 holes of golf, its own vineyard, and five function rooms running from a 30-seat boardroom to a 180-guest ballroom. It calls itself award-winning and sells a genuinely full-service wedding — “decorations, menu planning, and your own dedicated wedding coordinator”, with the couple's room included.
Setting & Style
Ceremonies go in landscaped gardens overlooking the golf course, or in a private vineyard on bench seating. Receptions run indoors: the Barrett Lennard takes 160 seated and 180 cocktail and will hang a cake from the ceiling, the Cabernet and Samuel Copley rooms take 110 seated each, and The Pavillion handles pre-dinner drinks. There are kangaroos on the course and a buggy for the photographs.
Ideal For
Couples who want one supplier for the whole weekend — ceremony, reception, catering, drinks and beds for the guest list — twenty-five minutes from Perth.
The Need-to-Knows
- 20 to 180 guests, but every reception package carries a minimum of 60 and a minimum spend on the chosen room. A 50-guest wedding will pay for 60.
- No prices are published. Four packages are described in full — Buffet, Cocktail, Set Menu and Long Table Feast — but the figures are in a wedding kit behind an eight-field enquiry form.
- Drinks and catering are included in every package, with a five-hour standard beverage package standard across all four.
- The couple's accommodation is included — a Deluxe Suite with full buffet breakfast and late checkout — and there are accommodation packages for guests.
- Each package includes the hardware: lectern and microphone, wooden dance floor, Tiffany or Bentwood chairs, and skirted bridal, cake and gift tables.
Standout Feature
Five function rooms, two ceremony settings and beds for the guest list on one property — with a vineyard and 36 holes between them.

Price Notes
- NO PRICES ARE PUBLISHED ON THE SITE. Four wedding packages are described in complete detail - inclusions, service style, duration - but every figure sits in a 'wedding kit' behind an EIGHT-FIELD ENQUIRY FORM at /weddings/download-wedding-kit/. The weddings page says so plainly: 'Download our wedding kit for pricing on our wedding venues, information on catering and drinks packages.' No PDF is linked anywhere on the site. Recorded as gated.
- TWO MINIMUMS APPLY TO EVERY PACKAGE AND BOTH ARE PUBLISHED: 'Minimum 60 guests. Minimum spend applies on chosen reception space.' This appears identically under all four packages. The published capacity range starts at 20, so the commercial floor is three times the physical one - the single most important thing on this listing for a couple planning a small wedding.
- THE FOUR PACKAGES, as described. BUFFET PACKAGE. COCKTAIL PACKAGE: 'Based on four hours of continuous canape service... Four hours of cocktail food including eight canape selections / Two substantial items and two dessert selections / Five-hour standard beverage package / Lectern and microphone / Wooden dance floor / Tiffany chairs or Bentwood chairs / Skirted bridal, cake and gift table / Overnight accommodation for the bride and groom in a Deluxe Suite with full buffet breakfast and late checkout.' SET MENU PACKAGE: 'Half hour of Chef's selection of canapes / Your choice of a three-course set menu with an alternating main course / Five-hour standard beverage package / Printed menus and table seating plan' plus the same hardware and accommodation. LONG TABLE FEAST PACKAGE: 'Made for sharing! Our Long Table Feast is designed so that guests can graze at their leisure. Served on rustic wooden boards to the table' with 'Half hour of Chef's selection of savouries / Grazing table starters'.
- DRINKS AND CATERING ARE INCLUDED IN EVERY PACKAGE - the weddings page lists 'Drinks and catering Included' among the inclusions, and a 'Five-hour standard beverage package' appears in each of the four. A couple is not sourcing either separately.
- THE COUPLE'S ROOM IS INCLUDED IN EVERY PACKAGE: 'Overnight accommodation for the bride and groom in a Deluxe Suite with full buffet breakfast and late checkout.' Guest accommodation is separate - 'Accommodation packages for wedding guests' are offered but not priced.
- THE FULL SERVICE IS THE SELLING POINT: 'Our complete wedding service includes decorations, menu planning, and your own dedicated wedding coordinator ensuring that every aspect of your special day is carefully planned and executed to perfection. We even include accommodation for the bride and groom.'
- NO DIETARY POSITION IS STATED anywhere on the weddings, functions or dining pages, and no menu is published outside the gated kit - which is why dietary_options_supported is NULL despite catering being in-house.
- OWNERSHIP - THE B157 CHAIN QUESTION IS RESOLVED. The register flagged that the venue 'trades as a resort and country club' and asked whether it was a chain. It is not. Applying the B192 test: there is NO /venues/ portfolio index (the route list is entirely about one property - accommodation, golf, dining, weddings, wellness, kangaroo safari), NO parent-group domain in the markup, and NO ownership phrases. Every external host is social media or analytics. Single property, own domain, own wedding offer.
- THE VENUE PUBLISHES A 3D TOUR and a drone flythrough of the property, both linked from the weddings navigation - useful for a couple who cannot visit.
- NO STRUCTURED PRICING DATA - no ld+json offer block anywhere.
