The Orange Ex-Services’ Club runs the biggest function floor in the Central West, on Anson Street in the middle of Orange. Seven configurable rooms are published with a full set-up matrix — classroom, cabaret, u-shape, theatre, boardroom and banquet — and the largest combination seats 432 for a banquet across 689m².

Setting & Style

The Coral Sea Auditorium is the wedding room: a first-floor ballroom with a large stage, a parquetry dance floor and its own private bar, reached from either the front or back reception. Tarin Kowt — formerly the Greenhouse function room — is the smaller, prettier alternative at 188m²: natural light, a rooftop courtyard, a marble fireplace and a private bar, with its own lawn section. For a very small wedding, Tobruk and Borneo combine into an intimate room that also has a private bar and dance floor.

Almost any size, from a Tobruk/Borneo elopement to 432 in the Coral Sea — and for couples who want the whole thing on one site: club, restaurant, coffee shop, rooftop bar and a 4.5-star hotel in the same complex.

The Need-to-Knows

Nothing is priced on the website. Packages exist — wedding, corporate, social and celebration of life — but each is emailed after you fill in a form. Two hard rules are stated plainly and both matter: external catering is not permitted, and all alcohol must be supplied by the club. Final numbers and dietary requirements are due ten working days before the day, and room hire is charged for a full day.

Standout Feature

The published set-up matrix. Seven rooms × six configurations, with square metreage for each — Coral Sea 368 banquet, the Coral Sea/Tobruk/Borneo combination 432, Tarin Kowt 160, Tobruk 40. Very few clubs publish the grid rather than a single headline number, and it is what lets a couple work out whether their guest list actually fits before they enquire.
