Rowlee Wines
About
Overview & Vibe
Rowlee is a cool-climate wine estate at Nashdale, just outside Orange in the Central Tablelands, three and a half hours from both Sydney and Canberra.
Setting & Style
The day is designed to move around the property rather than sit in one room. Canapés happen on the Croquet Lawn, drinks in the gardens, then the reception goes to one of three spaces: Rowlee Dining & Bar, The Stables, or The Marquee. The Stables is the character option — the property's original dairy and horse stables, repurposed with a vaulted ceiling, original timbers and an adjoining courtyard garden. Each reception space is positioned to catch sunset over the paddocks and vineyard. Couples set on somewhere else entirely can build their own outdoor reception on the Croquet Lawn or in the Paddock for an additional fee. Beyond those are an olive grove, an orchard, a fragrant garden, a parkland and a guesthouse.
Ideal For
Couples who want a working wine estate with several distinct settings, and who prefer a venue that publishes its fee structure plainly rather than quoting everything on enquiry.
The Need-to-Knows
- The venue and event fee is $4,500 Monday to Thursday and $9,950 Friday and Saturday; Sundays and public holidays are on enquiry.
- That fee covers the grounds, gardens, your reception location, setup, furniture and a dedicated on-the-day Event Manager.
- Food packages start from $110 per head and beverage packages from $85 per head, on top.
- The Marquee and any self-built outdoor reception area carry additional fees.
- Private charter flights and helicopter transfers can be arranged on request.
Standout Feature
The Stables — the estate's original dairy and horse stables under a vaulted ceiling of original timbers, with its own courtyard garden.
