The Mountain Folk are Dimity Kennedy and Jefferton James, a couple who live in Blackheath and photograph and film weddings together across the Blue Mountains. The Need-to-Knows

Photography and elopements with a combined photography and film option. The smallest package in each group is not offered on a Friday or Saturday. A booking fee holds the date and the balance falls due one calendar month beforehand. Photographs usually arrive in four to six weeks with a few early images inside two days.

Standout Feature

Booking them is booking both of them. They shoot, edit and answer their own enquiries, so the two people who meet you over coffee are the two people in the room on the day and the two people cutting the film afterwards. Raw footage is kept for three years, which is why couples can come back later and ask for a first anniversary edit.
